According to the Orange County District Attorney, a Southern California thief was arrested last week because of DNA evidence – he left him while browsing porn on one of his victim’s laptops – helping to identify him .

The district prosecutor said at a news conference that the intrusion took place on October 4, when four female university roommates in Orange left home to attend an event before 9:30 pm. When they returned after 11 pm, the women found their home looted.

Prosecutors in the area said a thief sneaked into the house through the window, attacking the women’s bedroom and letting women’s underwear fall home. According to the local prosecutor, the thief also uses the victim’s laptop to browse porn online and use the computer to download the victim’s photo.

According to the authorities, after leaving the semen on the laptop, the thief gave up the computer in another female bedroom. The prosecutor said that he had eaten “multiple biscuits” and drank milk from the female refrigerator before leaving home.

The next day after the burglary, the orange police were able to wipe the items from the crime scene – including the semen on the laptop. A few days later, after the sample passed the investigator’s rapid DNA program, a game came back: DNA belongs to Jonathan Jose Ruiz, he must submit the DNA to the law enforcement database as part of the 2017 destruction case, according to the prosecutor .

The district prosecutor said Ruiz was a 19-year-old Orange resident who was arrested on October 11. Ruiz was accused of four burglary and vandalism burglaries on Monday. The prosecutor said that if convicted, he may face imprisonment for more than six years.

The prosecutor said that when he was arrested, the authorities found that Ruiz had two underwear from the victim and other stolen property.

According to the prison records in Orange County, Ruiz was released on bail of $50,000.
